KHAIRPUR: Resident of the district accused police for allegedly setting alight their five makeshift houses, ARY News reported Sunday.
While protesting against the move, the protesters accused the police of setting their settlements on fire on behest of the ‘influential elements’.
Police allegedly entered the settlements on pretext of searching, but they did not find anything. Later they set our homes on fire, residents said.
They also accused police of torturing their women and children.
