Police arrest 40 suspects in Karachi raids
KARACHI: Police arrested 40 miscreants during search operations in different areas of the city in the wee hours of Wednesday, ARY News reported.
Conducting door-to-door search operation, police have arrested nine suspects in Joharabad by recovering two stolen motorcycles.
In another raid, police detained 10 people on suspicion of burglary and started interrogation.
Meanwhile, 20 more people were detained by police on suspicion of being involved in criminal activities during raids in Pahar Ganj, Hussain De Silva town and Nusrat Bhutto colony by cordoning off the areas.
Separately, police claimed to arrest a burglar in an injured condition from Abbasi Shaheed Hospital who allegedly sustained bullet injuries during a robbery bid.
