According to details, police carried out a search operation in Preedy area of Karachi and arrested over 50 suspected persons. No weapon recovered from the suspects.
Police searched hotels, guest houses and shops in the area as well.
Six other suspects namely Shafi, Alim, Nabi-ur-Rehman, Muzammil, Yar Afzal and Atta Mohammad were arrested in two different police raids in Korangi area of the metropolis. Arms and drugs were seized from the nabbed persons.
Police took three suspects Osama, Hamid and Afzal into their custody in a raid in Al-Falah area. Guns and stolen mobile phones were recovered from the arrested men.
