Police arrest two suspects for 'ties' with Daesh

According to details, a police team arrested two suspects from Nawab Town area of Lahore, for allegedly carrying out the wall chalking of the terror outfit and for pasting its stickers.

The action was taken upon special directives by the CCPO Lahore, while police have also registered a case against the arrested accused.

Police shifted both the suspects to an undisclosed location for further investigations, while raids are being conducted at different locations for the arrest of some more of their accomplices.

Earlier, Islamic State (Daesh) wall chalking had appeared in different cities including Karachi, Peshawar, Multan and Lahore and in parts of Balochistan, while its stickers were also found pasted at walls and poles in different areas of the bordering town of Wagah.

The chalking was carried out in the dark of night by unknown persons, which infused fears that the deadly terror organization is spreading its tentacles in Pakistan.
