Police arrests 9 suspects in overnight Karachi raids
KARACHI: Police arrested nine suspects from different parts of the city in the wee hours of Friday morning here, ARY News reported.
Police personnel arrested three burglars after exchange of fire at Shah Latif Town. Illegal weapons were also seized from the possession of the arrested men.
Separately, residents of Rafah-e-Aam society in Malir foiled a robbery bid by apprehending a robber who was later handed over to Police while his accomplices fled from the scene.
Police detained four suspects from the jurisdictions of Eidgah and Defence stations and recovered weapons from their possession.
While an Afghan national was taken into custody in Gulberg police remit for staying illegally in the area. A case has been lodged against the accused under foreigners act.
In Lahore, ten suspects were arrested by Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and identification of 100 people verified by using bio-metric device.
