According to details, police started a search operation in Karachi in Kalri area of Lyari Town where terrorists opened fire on police personnel.
Four terrorists belonging to the Sheraz Comrade group of Lyari gang warfare were killed in retaliatory fire by police.
The law enforcement personnel also recovered firearms and grenades from the possession of dead criminals.
Police sources say that the terrorists were involved in a number of criminal activites including extortion and murder of several police offices.
The dead bodies of criminals were later shifted to the Jinnah Hospital for necessary legal formalities.
