According to details, bike riding terrorists attacked a police van with a hand grenade which fortunately did not explode as police opened retaliatory fire, three terrorists were killed.
The terrorists were identified as Qari Shahab a.k.a Zahidullah, Imran a.k.a Umar Khattab and Abu Tariq. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the hospital and a police inquiry is initiated. A number of hand grenades and other ammunition were recovered from them.
It must be noted that terrorists have started targeting police personnel besides killing common citizens and political workers. It is the third such incident in two days.
