Police spot terrorist elements in Afghan refugees’ list

PESHAWAR: A list of 4,000 Afghan refugees required to Khyber Pakhtonkhwa Police has been prepared, which identifies terrorist elements within the immigrants, ARY News reported Monday.

Sources informed that over 1000 Afghan refugees in the list were involved in terrorist activities who had already been marked black-listed.

They told that all entry of all these immigrants was banned into country from tribal areas. It is learnt that these illegal settlers flee to Afghanistan after carrying out terrorism activities in different provinces of Pakistan.

Sources said a comprehensive plan had been devised for the arrest of Afghan immigrants.

Meanwhile, police arrested 22 suspects during their search operation in different areas of Peshawar.
