PESHAWAR: Unknown persons killed a polio worker by firing at Matni Hospital here on Saturday, ARY News reports.
Unknown gunmen, while riding a motorcycle, opened fire at the hospital due to which Zahid Gul was killed on the spot whereas Ward Orderly Niqab Khan and a woman were severely injured.
They were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
The attackers managed to flee from the scene after attacking the hospital.
Polio workers, including women workers, have been targeted in Matni earlier as well.
