According to details, delegations of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Jamaat e Islami (JI) called on the DG Rangers on Thursday, while the Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sial also held a separate meeting with Gen Akbar.
The Rangers spokesperson said that the meetings were focused on affairs pertaining to Karachi Operation and security arrangements in the forthcoming local body (LB) elections.
All the stake-holders agreed to establish peace in Karachi through mutual cooperation and to advance the operation in an efficient manner.
