Political leaders condemn forced closure of ARY's transmission

KARACHI: Transmission of ARY News has been suspended all over the Sindh by cable operators after being forced by unknown persons, ARY News reported.

Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has taken the notice of forced suspension and ensured every possible security to media houses.

Many cities of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas and TandoAlayar remained deprived of ARY’s breaking news, reviews and analysis while in some cities ARY News moved to the last channels.

Common people as well as political leaders condemned the broadcast closure of ARY news.

Sindh Information Minister Sherjel Inam Memon strongly condemned the closure of ARY’s Transmission.

PPP’s leader Shazia Marri criticizing the move said that no curb will be tolerated on the freedom of media.

Chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Sahibzada Hamid Raza said the step is being taken to hide the truth.
