While some spoke against the plan others voiced support. Interestingly Member of National Assembly (MNA) Jamshed Dasti announced that he will surely participate in the march and will join PTI on the big day. Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) also expressed satisfaction and hope about the two marches being held together and its chief Chaudhry Shujaat claimed that the public will announce their verdict before 14th August.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that any effort to topple the government will be resisted by their party.

While Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed maintained that people do not care who is in government, they only care about who fulfils their aspirations and needs.

PTI central leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi vowed to welcome PAT on 14th August.

It must be noted that 14th August is celebrated as Pakistan’s Independence day but this year, the revolutionaries and their anti government activities are set to get more media coverage.
