Political parties once in power become dictators here, says Imran Khan

KARACHI: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has said that political parties after coming into power try to become all and all of the state and act like dictators. He said that the country cannot flourish without true democracy – ARY News reports.

In his exclusive talk with anchorperson Mubashir Lucman, in ARY News program Khara Sach, Imran Khan said that political parties try to become dictators after coming into power, while he also said that the country was making progress in 60’s.

The PTI Chief said that the meaning of true democracy is independence.

He inquired that what good of foreign visits of the Prime Minister are bringing to the country, while he also criticized the rulers for their lavish livings saying that the Prime Minister and the President of Pakistan have daily expenses worth of Rs 50 lac.

Khan said that a businessman should not be the head of the state, whereas the country cannot prosper without true democracy.

He said that here the country is getting poorer and the families of the rulers becoming richer.

The PTI Chairman said all my assets and bank accounts are in Pakistan, while others having all their money deposited in foreign banks are talking of foreign investment.

Moreover, he challenged to gather 10 lac masses in Islamabad on August 14, marking a day in the history of the country.
