Politics of propaganda will not be allowed on 14th August, says Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Ahsan Iqbal has said that the politics of propaganda or mischief will not be allowed on Independence Day, ARY News reports.

Speaking at a press conference, Ahsan Iqbal said that conspiracies are being to create instability in Pakistan like Iraq, Syria and Egypt.

Ahsan Iqbal, while lashing out against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, said that he should disclose his funding against the government.

“Economy of the country was strengthened after a year but plots are being made to derail democracy””, Iqbal said. He claimed that friends of former President Pervez Musharraf started plotting against the government after the trial on the former military dictator started.

“No personal revenge is being taken against Musharraf. The court will decide his fate”, he added.
