Post-Hajj flight operation to begin tomorrow

KARACHI: Post-Hajj flight operation will begin on Monday and the first flight carrying 327 pilgrims will land at Islamabad Airport in the evening.

A spokesman of Ministry of Religious Affairs said the operation would be completed on September 25 with return of over 184,000 pilgrims (Hujjaj) from Saudi Arabia.

On the first day of post-Hajj operation, total 950 pilgrims aboard four flights would reach Islamabad and Peshawar.

A Pakistan International Airline spokesperson said 225 special and scheduled flights will be operated during this time from Jeddah and Medina.

PIA Chief Executive Officer Musharraf Rasool Siyan has directed the PIA Hajj team to provide every possible facility to the pilgrims.
