Power tariff up by Rs 7 per unit in KP
PESHAWAR: Federal government has increased electricity tariff by Rs 7 per unit in Khyber Pakhtonkhwa with immediate effect, ARY News reported Friday.
According to notification issued by the Ministry of Water and Power, domestic users consuming electricity up to 200 units will be charged Rs 1.38 additional. While those using power units from 201 to 700 will be charged Rs 5.36 under the new tariff.
Besides, commercial, industrial and agricultural consumers will have to pay Rs 7 per unit after the revised power tariff.
