KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has submitted a resolution against controversial Protection of Pakistan Ordinance (PPO) in Sindh Assembly, ARY News reported on Thursday.
MQM leader Syed Sardar Ahmed has said that the PPO violates human rights and democratic values. It will trigger lawlessness in the country.
He said the MQM has submitted a resolution against the controversial law in Sindh Assembly Secretariat and debate on the draconian law will be held at the floor of the house tomorrow.
He called the controversial law against human rights and said that MQM wants the federal government to take back the law.
