Bilawal Bhutto to address public rally in Hub today
HUB: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address a public rally on Saturday (today) at Jam Qadir Stadium in Balochistan’s Hub city bordering Karachi.
All arrangements have been finalized for the meeting and the venue has been decorated with party flags and posters. The rally organizers have said that the stage has a capacity to accommodate over 100 party leaders.
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will address the rally, besides senior party leaders and local activists.
The city administration has inspected all security arrangements for the event by late night, deploying police personnel at and around the venue of the PPP rally.
All activists and workers of the PPP kept on rallying in areas in the outskirts of Hub on Friday night in an attempt to mobilize the masses to attend today’s public gathering.
The party is expecting a mammoth crowd today in the public meeting.
Political pundits are of the opinion that the gathering today will be the compass of the party’s popularity in the backdrop of the speculations that the party had intervened in the province, triggering a political crisis earlier this month that was resulted in collapse of the PML-N provincial government led by Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.
It is pertinent to mention here that presently the PPP have not a single seat in existing Balochistan Assembly.
