In the letter written by PPP secretary general Raja Pervez Ashraf, the party has maintained that no government or intelligence agency holds the right to spy over the party while calling the act, a violation of diplomatic and intelligence norms.

PPP demanded that US should amend its laws to prevent such acts in future.

It must be remembered that US media had revealed that NSA is spying upon political parties around the world and PPP is among such parties.
