Reacting to the decision made by federal government, Qamar Zaman Kaira castigated that the rulers consider themselves to be monarchs.

He charged Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan with causing tension between Sindh and the Centre.

“Had the interior minister not held a press conference on Rangers powers, then the situation would not have deteriorated,” Kaira said.

Sassui Palijo said the provincial government has done nothing wrong and that the Sindh Assembly had the right to pass the resolution, while Sardar Lateef Khosa claimed that the federation’s decision violated the Constitution.

PPP leaders claimed that the federation has no right to reject the summary of Sindh government.
