PPP to demonstrate political power in Fateh Jang today
ATTOCK: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) is all set to hold a political gathering in Fateh Jang city 40km away from here on Saturday, ARY News reported.
Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is to address the crowd.
The venue of the public meeting has been decorated with party flags and banners besides 20,000 chairs have been placed to host the public.
The city administration has made foolproof security measures. The party workers are already amassing at the venue where all arrangements have been finalised.
PPP has recently held public gathering in various cities of Khyber Pakthunkhwa (KP) and Punjab.
It will be PPP’s third public meeting in span of a week.
On August 20 (Sunday), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari – in a public address in Kaghan Valley – said if his party was catapulted into power it would serve the people of the country.
“There are a lot of politicians who speak about the poor, but you know very well Bhuttos not only talk about them but work for their well-being,” he had said while addressing a large crowd.
A day before Kaghan political gathering on last Saturday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had addressed a crowd in Mansehra where the PPP chairman said that the country was going through a sensitive time, including border situations, but instead both leaders are just hungry for power and not willing to solve the real issues of the nation.
It merits to mention here that PPP has intensified its pre-election campaign recently ahead of General Elections in 2018 and these public rallies in different cities of KP and Punjab are deemed as part of the party’s pre-election campaign.
