FAISALABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Faisal Saleh Hayat along with his driver was injured in a road mishap here on Wednesday night, ARY News reported.
According to police, former federal minister Faisal Saleh Hayat was en route to Shah Jiwana area of Jhang from Lahore when his car collided with a trailer near Ameenpur.
Rescue agencies reaching the spot and shifted the injured to Allied Hospital, where doctors pronounced the condition of Hayat out of danger. However, the condition of his driver was said to be critical.
The hospital sources confirmed that Faisal Saleh Hayat went through a minor surgery and was shifted to ward and his condition was said to be stable. So far, the cause of mishap could not be ascertained.
