PPP leader Qadir Patel to appear before Rangers tomorrow

KARACHI: Rangers have summoned Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Qadir Patel at Rangers headquarters to record his statement in a case pertaining to terrorists’ facilitation, ARY News reported.

Patel had returned to to the country on Tuesday (April 12) after his summons were issued by the Rangers to process the investigations of abetting and supporting terrorists.

Former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain, in the case pertaining to providing medical assistance to terrorists, had named Qadir Patel.

Asked about Dr Hussain, Patel lamented the practice of leveling allegations in politics. He claimed to have met the former minister once or twice.

It is mandatory to note here that Patel has already been on bail in the case.
