According to details, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chaired a meeting of PPP core committee at Zardari House Islamabad. The PPP formed two committees over Panama Papers.

The committee comprising of Farooq H Naik, Latif Khosa, Nayyer Bukhari and Aitzaz Ahsan was tasked with analyzing legal aspects of Panama leaks, while the other that included Khursheed Shah, Saeed Ghani and Ejaz Jakhrani was asked to devise a joint strategy after consultation with opposition parties.

The meeting also decided restructuring of the Peoples Party and dissolved provincial and district chapters of the four provinces.

Talking to media afterwards, Qamar Zaman Kaira told that the core committee maintained party organization in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA.

A five-member committee each will be constituted for Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for party’s reorganization, he said.
