KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will take out a rally in Karachi on 16th October in memory of Karsaz blast victims, ARY News reported on Sunday.
The rally will be led by party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Large number of PPP supporters and party leaders will be present in the meeting.
The rally will pass through several areas of the metropolis including Boat Basin, Mai Kolachi, Netty Jetty, I.C.I Bridge, M.A. Jinnah Road, Kharadar, Lyari and Mazar-e-Quaid.
PPP chairman will also address the rally in different parts of the city.
Around 180 people, mostly PPP followers, were killed and more than 500 were injured on 18th October 2007 in twin explosions at Karachi’s Karsaz area of the metropolis.
Large number of people had gathered at a rally in the area to welcome former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto-two months before she was assassinated in Rawalpindi.
