PPP has brought a revolutionary manifesto: Bilawal
JHELUM: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while continuing his election campaign in central Punjab on Tuesday, said that he has come to complete the incomplete mission of Benazir Bhutto.
Addressing a campaign rally in Jhelum, the PPP chairman said that their struggle is not with other political parties, but rather against desperation and deprivation prevailing in society.
Presenting his manifesto, Bilawal said the PPP has provided a revolutionary manifesto to solve the problems facing the nation. “PPP has always brought a revolutionary manifesto, and this time around it has also brought a revolutionary manifesto as well.”
This includes bring the Peoples Poverty Alleviation Programme which envisages providing interest-free loans to women which will provide them employment. He said the PPP introduced the BISP which benefited millions of women across the country.
Bilawal said that he has come to fulfilled the incomplete mission of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto and the people should support him, and that there was a need to revive their politics to serve the people.
“Our struggle is not against any party or politician, but rather against deprivation, desperation, poverty, and social injustice,” he said.
He said the PPP will introduce programmes to eradicate hunger and provide food cards which will provide essential items at reduced price. He said the party will also provide housing to the homeless, employment and improved facilities to farmers.
He said the party will bring agricultural reforms which will insure crops so that compensation could be provided in case of any disaster. He said he will visit every part of the country with this vision, and that people should vote for them on July 25.
