Large number of people were present in the rally organized by PPP’s senior leaders. The rally started from Bilawal House and and ended at Sparco Intersection after passing through the areas of Shireen Jinnah Colony, M.T. Khan Road and Mauripur.
The supporters and activists of the party danced to the party anthems and are chanting slogans in favor of the party.
PPP leader Sherry Rehman, speaking to media, said that the rally was taken out to celebrate the party’s foundation day and was not a part of the party’s electioneering for the local bodies elections.
She said that Lyari will once again be the party’s stronghold as other parties have failed to gain the people’s attention.
