The statement came after PPP’s coalition partner Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) announced to quit Sindh Government protesting over some recent statements against their party by PPP’s central and top leadership.

Sharjeel Memon clarified that both Asif Ali Zardari and Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasised upon the need to forget past grievances adding that he is shocked by MQM’s reaction.

He claimed that MQM leaders used foul language against PPP leadership and we too can reply in the same manner but the only thing stopping us the reconciliation policy.

Answering a question, Memon said that PPP will not leave the city’s peace to be ruined by unknown gunmen.

Earlier, MQM said that Pakistan Peoples Party has a history of discrimination and violence against MQM and urdu speaking community of urban Sindh, but it was Altaf Hussain who initiated the politics of reconciliation, “Today we say enough is enough,” added Siddiqui.

PPP gave us many opportunities to start politics of hate and violence but we ignored. At Eid day, the chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto blamed Altaf Hussian and threatened our leader of consequences, let me make it clear, “ workers of MQM cannot tolerate anyone badmouthing our leader”, said the deputy convener of MQM.

We demand new administrative units throughout Pakistan, including a rightly deserved province for urban Sindh.
Criticizing Bilwal Bhutto, Khalid Maqbool Siqqidui said that Bilawal Zardari can inherit Bambino Cinema but not the chairmanship of PPP because he is a Zardari.
