PPP submits condemnation resolution against MQM chief in NA

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has submitted condemnation resolution against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in National Assembly which also demands action against those who heard his speech, ARY News reported.

In a meeting of NA Standing Committee on Law and Justice in Islamabad, PPP members submitted condemnation resolution against the MQM chief over his anti-Pakistan speech which contained signatures of all the PPP members.

The resolution says House condemns Altaf’s anti-state statements. Seeking help from India and Israel is shameful. Attacking media houses and violence instigating tirade is condemnable, said the resolution.

The resolution has demanded action against Altaf under Article 6 and 17-B. Meanwhile, the standing committee has approved the condemnation resolution against the MQM chief’s anti-Pakistan statement.
