PPP will cooperate in curbing terrorism: Manzoor Wattoo
LAHORE: Mian Manzoor Wattoo, President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab chapter, has said that the party will cooperate with the federal government of Pakistan in curbing terrorism, ARY News reports.
Mian Manzoor Wattoo chaired a meeting of PPP Punjab for the party re-structuring in the province.
Speaking to media after the meeting, PPP Punjab President said that the party lauds the anti terrorism statements made by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He added that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was the first to speak against Taliban due to which Imran Khan and other leaders followed suit.
Wattoo added that there is no room for people in the country who do not accept the constitution. He said that PPP only recognizes the constitution of 1973.
He urged the federal government to start the work on Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline on immediate basis.
