ISLAMABAD: Senator Raza Rabbani on Wednesday said that the Prime Minister was informed about the reservations of Pakistan People's Party over the Protection of Pakistan Bill in meeting with him, ARY News reports.
Senator Rabbani was talking with the media after former president Asif Ali Zardari's meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Rabbani said that in any trying time the PPP will stand with the democratic forces.
The ongoing dialogue with Taliban was also discussed during the meeting, he said. The legislative matters, development projects in Sindh and existing national situation was also discussed during the meeting.
The Prime Minister was briefed about the PPP's reservations over the Protection of Pakistan Bill, he said.
The two sides vowed to strengthen the supremacy of the constitution and stabilization of the institutions, he further said.
Rabbani said the Prime Minister has entrusted task to federal minister Zahid Hamid to contact with the opposition parties.
Rabbani said that in any trying time the PPP will stand with the democratic forces.
