The Mumbai police have decided to record Bollywood actress Preity Zinta’s statement once again in connection with molestation charges she has levied against her ex-boyfriend and business tycoon Ness Wadia. As the actress is abroad, the police have got in touch with her lawyers so that they can carry on with the investigations.
The police have already recorded the statement of two people who were at the Wankhede Stadium on May 30 when the actress claims she was verbally abused and manhandled by Wadia. The police have however, not revealed the identity and details of the eyewitnesses.
A media report says that the police also want the e-mail that Preity had sent to Wadia warning him about his behavior. The police feel that could be important evidence. The report adds that the actress has said in her previous statement that she had already warned Wadia against his behaviour in that e-mail.
This is not the first time that Wadia has allegedly misbehaved with the actress during the IPL tournament. In her three-page statement, Preity has said that Wadia had misbehaved with her during the IPL auctions in Bangalore in February and the IPL CEO had intervened then.
