Present govt won't last longer than a few months: Musharraf

TOP NEWS

In his address with the workers convention of the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Sindh chapter, Pervez Musharraf said that during his reign national treasury was filled up, country was moving on the path of development, people were prosperous and peace prevailed across the country.

He alleged that Nawaz Sharif plundered treasury as soon as he assumed the office of the prime minister and transferred the looted wealth abroad.

The former president said that PM Nawaz Sharif bankrupted the country and started begging before foreign powers.

He said that the participation of the people in huge numbers in Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri’s rallies shows that they are unhappy with the performance of the present rulers.

Musharraf directed the APML workers to speed-up their activities all over the country, for it is soon to witness a revolution and a national government will be formed here followed by the accountability of tyrant rulers.

He said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is ruling Sindh for years, but there seems no betterment in Sindh’s situation.

He went on that the worsened condition of interior Sindh and Karachi, adds to his woes.

“The educated youth of Sindh is being ignored, while jobs are being handed in return of money”, lamented the former president.

Moreover, Pervez Musharraf said that huge turnout at Imran Khan’s rally in Larkana clearly indicates that the people of Sindh have given their verdict against the ruling PPP.
