President Mamnoon addresses 40th passing out batch of CSP
LAHORE: President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain has said that the Government is keeping up to meet the challenges like terrorism, extremism and unrest in the country. He added that efforts are being made to improve the economical situation of Pakistan, with the collaboration of China – ARY News reports.
Mamnoon Hussain reached Lahore on Monday for the first time after taking oath as the President of Pakistan. He was received by the Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif.
President Mamnoon Hussain visited the shrines of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh and Allama Iqbal, after which he attended the passing out ceremony of 40th batch of the Civil Services of Pakistan (CSP) officials.
Addressing the ceremony, the President said that the Government is highly determined to eradicate terrorism, extremism and unrest from the country. He added that soon important economic milestones will be crossed as the Government is striving to improve the economic conditions of Pakistan with the cooperation of China.
He emphasized the passing out bureaucrats to utilize their abilities for the welfare of the people.
After the ceremony, President Mamnoon Hussain went to the Governor House, where a lavish lunch was organized in his honor.
On this occasion, Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar briefed the President about the provision of safe drinking water in different parts of the province and other ongoing development projects.
