President Mamnoon Hussain stated this while speaking to a delegation of K-Electric headed its chairman which called on him in Islamabad. During a meeting, the president suggested K-Electric to serve people in a better way by utilizing modern technology.
He said that government was committed to resolve the energy crisis, adding that uninterrupted supply of electricity was mandatory for social and economic progress.
“Government has launched various power projects to achieve the target”, he said.
On the other hand, the delegation of K-Electric briefed the President on the future investment plans of K-Electric and Abraaj Group in Pakistan which will invest $ US 2 billion in the power utility sector.
