ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has called a joint session of the Parliament on Wednesday evening in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Indian hostilities at the Line of Control (LoC) and along with the prevailing situation at the Occupied Kashmir will be discussed in the Parliament’s joint session.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also called a meeting of the heads of parliamentary parties at PM House in Islamabad on Monday.
The key representatives of all the major political parties of the country are likely to be present in the meeting.
A statement by Prime Minister’s Office stated that it will be the collective voice of all parliamentary parties in reiterating the country’s moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their struggle for the right of self determination and reaffirming the national resolve to make our national security impregnable.
