Prime Minister Nawaz stops Abdul Malik Baloch from resigning till he returns

The current Chief Minister of Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch was supposed to resign today from his post. However, Nawaz Sharif sent a message to the Balochistan Chief Minister not to resign till he returns to the country. Nawaz is currently on a tour to Turkmenistan.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz member Khawaja Saad Rafique conveyed the Prime Minister’s message to Hasil Bizenjo. In a meeting on Thursday, Nawaz Sharif had presided over a meeting in which it was decided to name PML-N’s Balochistan chief Sanaullah Zehri, as the new Chief Minister of the province.

According to details, the meeting was held at Balochistan House in Islamabad, which was attended by federal ministers, outgoing chief minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and PkMAP chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

Sanaullah Zehri was to take over as the Chief Minister for the next two and a half years of the remaining term of this province.
