KARACHI: Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Syed Munawwar Hassan stressed to assist judiciary for a logical conclusion of Gen. Rtd. Pervaiz Musharraf’s trial, ARY News reported.
While addressing a press conference in Karachi on Sunday, Syed Munawwar Hassan said that some people are trying to sabotage the Musharraf’s trial by asking to initiate it from October 12.
He asked to bring the privatization issue in National Assembly and to make a commission which brings the result of privatization in front of people.
Munawwar Hassan alleged federal finance minister Ishaq Dar and Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Yaseen Anwer for telling lie regarding welfare of people, “Finance Minister wrote a letter to IMF accepting all the terms and condition in order to get loan”, he said.
JI’s Chief revealed that his party is running a peaceful campaign against the corruption and privatization while a meeting has been called in this regard in Karachi on January 16.
