Priyanka Chopra is one of the most versatile actresses that have emerged from Bollywood in recent years. Not only has the actress’ latest Bollywood flick Bajirao Mastani has earned rave reviews and collected quite a hefty moolah at the box office, her American TV show Quantico has also earned her a global fan following. Most recently the actress won the People’s Choice award for Favourtie Actress.

According to a local report, Priyanka Chopra said that she would happily star in a Pakistani movie if given a chance.
“If I get a chance, I would be very happy to star in a Pakistani film.”

There are already reports that the actress is all set to romance Pakistani hunk Fawad Khan in a Bollywood flick titled Mr. Chalu. When asked which actor she would prefer acting alongside with from Pakistan, the actress shrugged the question off with a joke.
“Abhi tum larwao gay (you will create a conflict),” she said.

Priyanka also said that her decision to work in a Pakistani film would depend on the type of role she is offered. She also said that rather than artists, the task to diffuse tensions and promote lasting peace between two states was the job of the respective governments.

“It is very difficult that this responsibility is put on the shoulders of artists. This is government’s problem. It depends on them to solve it. Artists can only bring countries together… This responsibility should be on us as people, on government. Whatever artists do they do for art and art goes to the whole world,” she said.

She also said that her films did not depend on heroes and she liked to enjoy her films.
“My films don’t depend on heroes. My character should be good, great story. I do films for entertainment, I am an entertainer, a performer, so I would like to do a good film.”
