It was recently announced that the sultry actress will present at the 88th Academy Awards scheduled to be held on February 28th of this year. This comes as a big achievement for the Bajirao Mastani actress, who is already making huge waves in Hollywood with the help of her hit U.S. television series Quantico. If Quantico was not enough to win Piggy Chops a legion of new fans in America, the latest Oscar news would go a long way in garnering her even more fame and attention.
Other notable celebrities who will present at the Oscars include comedian Steve Carell, Kerry Washington and Quincy Jones.
2015 finished on a high note for the actress. Not only did she bag a role in Quantico, but her Bollywood flick Bajirao Mastani opposite Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, also earned rave reviews at the box office and fared extremely well at the box office. Priyanka also became the first South Asian woman ever to win the Peoples Choice Award for Favourite Actress, for Quantico.
With her current flight, it seems apt to say that sky is the limit for the Indian actress. Who knows what other opportunities lie in wait for the former Miss World, who has already fared well even in the world of music?
