It should be noted that Priyanka’s ex-manager Prakash Jaju made the claim in light of the death of Bigg Boss contestant Pratyusha Banerjee, who also committed suicide on Friday.
Speaking on Twitter regarding the dangers of living alone in Mumbai, he claimed that he had managed to save her life several times.
Jaju tweeted, “When the girls live alone in Mumbai, drinks & drugs become a daily habit as there is nobody to stop or check.”
He added that the actress may look strong but was weak during her struggling days and he stopped her from committing suicide two to three times.
Jaju explained how Priyanka tried to take her own life and he was there to save the day.
Priyanka’s former manager claimed the actress was close to her alleged former boyfriend named Aseem Merchant’s mother and she had tried to commit suicide by jumping off a building when she passed away.
However, the authenticity of Jaju’s claims may be questioned as the actress had ended Jaju’s contract and he had filed a case against Chopra in Mumbai.
Jaju was also sent to prison for 67 days after Chopra’s father had filed a lawsuit against him over intruding his daughter’s privacy.
