Producers suffer ‘big loss’ in a day after Kapil Sharma cancels the shoot
MUMBAI: Indian comedian/actor Kapil Sharma known for his impeccable comic timing and melodious voice recently put his producers in a slight tiff when the 36-year-old celebrated celebrity canceled the shoot with Rani Mukerji wasting Rs 30 lakh (3 million) of the channel’s money.
Sharma who is under contract with Sony entertainment recently canceled a full day shoot with the well-known actress Rani Mukerji who was to make an appearance on the show promoting her upcoming movie HITCHKI.
Kapil’s newly launched show on Sony entertainment is already facing dilemmas as it TRPs are spiraling down the drain with every show. The viewers are not finding it gripping enough as Sharma’s previous programs.
The show named “family time with Kapil Sharma” is a big production as it’s a 13-camera shoot.
Kapil previously has also pulled such stunt, canceling shows at last minute.
The actress had to wait for three hours when her team was informed that the shoot has been definitely canceled for the day.
Previously Kapil had also been in headlines for supposedly canceling on the Baaghi 2 cast Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. later the comedian took on Twitter to clarify his stance that he didn’t cancel any show on purpose.

The channel later informed that it was a technical glitch that made them reschedule the show.
