Prof. Ibrahim calls for speeding up talks' process
PESHAWAR: Prof. Mohammad Ibrahim, member Taliban-nominated committee for peace talks, steps on war-footing were needed to speed up the negotiations process between the government and the Taliban, ARY News reported Sunday.
Talking to ARY News, Prof. Ibrahim said committees of the government and the Taliban should meet with Taliban shura at the earliest.
He confirmed that both the parties had complaints at their ends.
He said the government and Taliban representatives must bring their actual demands on table.
To a question, Prof. Ibrahim said list for release of prisoners by the Taliban contained around 700 names.
