KARACHI: MQM chief Altaf Hussain said a large number of youth were approaching the MQM in Punjab as propaganda against the party was losing its effect in the province, ARY News reported Sunday.
He said establishment-backed political parties had kept their influence in Punjab for a long time, which hindered MQM’s way into the province.
While addressing the district representatives of MQM in the province, Altaf welcomed the induction of youngsters from Punjab into the party. “Various conspiracies were hatched against the MQM through to block its way in Punjab, but now the trend is reversing,” the MQM chief said.
He said it takes time to spread true ideology, but in the end it works.
