No prosecutor appointed in special courts under PPO
KARACHI: Federal government and the Sindh government are apparently in a fix as prosecutors for special courts, formed under Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO), could not be appointed as yet, ARY News reported.
The five PPO courts are still not operating in Sindh due to uncertainty over appointment of prosecutors between the provincial and federal government.
No judge or a lawyer is currently appointed at special courts.
Sindh government has written a letter to the federal government for appointment of prosecutors, but it has received no reply even after the lapse of 22 days.
