Protesters should help the flood victims: Shahbaz

CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers with the flood victims in Hafizabad on Monday (today). The chief minister, speaking to media after the prayers, said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has harmed Pakistan’s economy.

“I appeal Imran to have mercy on the country”, he added.

He added that some people want to come into power through backdoor but their wishes will not come true.

Shahbaz Sharif also visited Bhowana tehsil of Chiniot where he sacrificed an animal with the flood victims and extended his Eid wishes to them. Sharif also had lunch with the flood victims and distributed gifts amongst the affectees.

CM Punjab also said that protesters in Islamabad should help the flood affectees instead of forgetting them.

He announced that the second installment of the distribution of compensation to the flood victims will begin from 20th October. He added that he is monitoring the distribution process himself and everyone will get their rightful share.
