‘Provocation at PTI rally could fuel fire in Karachi’

TOP NEWS

“It’s routine for PTI to hurl allegations at any political party and later backtrack from those charges,” he said while speaking in ARY News program ‘Off The Record’ hosted by Kashif Abbassi.

Jameel said MQM had no fear of any party, adding his party won seats from Gilgit and other parts of the country.

He said it’s useless of PTI to think that MQM workers wont react if PTI activists tore up Altaf bhai’s posters.

Jameel said ECP should sit MQM and PTI together and clarify the election code of conduct.

After the incident today, he said, the administration should not allow any rally at Jinnah Road.

He was of the view that NA-246 has more than 20 grounds where public gatherings could be held. He asked who would be responsible if PTI workers attacked monuments of MQM martyrs and Karachi was set on fire in its wake.

Imran Ismail said none of the PTI workers resorted to violence during their visit at Jinnah Ground. Media is the witness of real violence mongers, he added.
