In the round-robin stages, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators have beaten each other once. Quetta defeated Peshawar by seven wickets in their first encounter whereas Zalmi overcame Gladiators by eight wickets later in their second match of the league.
Both teams, having won six of their eight matches, progressed to the play off stage with 12 points apiece.
The team which loses today will face the winner of the second play-off match i.e. between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United.
The final of the first ever Pakistan Super League will be contested between the winner of the first and third play-off game.
The first play-off match will start at 9.00 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
