KARACHI: The Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has restored fuel supply to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) after the latter assured of payment of outstanding dues, ARY News reported Wednesday.
The PSO will start supplying fuel to PIA from Wednesday (today). PSO spokesperson Marian Shah confirmed the decision of the national state oil firm.
PSO had earlier halted fuel supply to PIA over non-payment of outstanding dues of Rs 7 billion, as oil refineries had also stopped supply to the PSO.
PSO had gone short of fuel stock after non-payment of dues by the PIA.
