According to unofficial and unconfirmed results of the by-elections in NA-149 Multan, PTI-backed Aamir Dogar has won the polls with 58142 votes on his credit, whereas Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, who was supported by the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), stood second in the row as he could bag 47222 votes only.
Dogar won against Hashmi with a lead of almost 11000 votes.
On the other hand, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has admitted his defeat in the by-elections and congratulated Malik Aamir Dogar for winning the polls with a huge margin.
